Lubricating Oil Applicator - 6040-0858
This easy to use oil applicator can help prevent wear and tear on your plotter. The carriage assembly runs back and forth on a metal bar. Over time, this bar gets dirty and begins to dry out. When this happens, it causes extra friction, and increases the chance of wear to the belt and carriage motor (Y-Axis). By applying some oil, and cleaning the carriage bar, you can prevent some of this wear.
This oil applicator is only for the following models:
DesignJet 230
DesignJet 250C
DesignJet 330
DesignJet 350C
DesignJet 430
DesignJet 450C
DesignJet 455CA
DesignJet 488CA
For other DesignJet models, you will a need different type of oil. The part number for this is 6040-0855
