Small Media Axis Belt
The media drive motor on the DesignJet 2000CP, 2500CP and 2800CP does not drive the media drive roller directly. Instead, it uses a small media motor belt to connect the motor to a drive pulley, which turns the media drive roller. Over time, this belt can start to wear out and eventually cause the error message "Switch Power Off, Check Media Path" to display on the front panel.
We include a set of fitting instructions on disk to show you how to replace this part.
Please note, this does not affect the DesignJet 3000CP, 3500CP or the 3800CP models, as they have a different media motor design.
